Robert A. Cunningham was a dedicated volunteer to General Electric Credit Union
(GECU) for over 30 years. His spirit of volunteerism was seen in his love of
children's sports and his commitment to scholastic achievement and college
education.
This scholarship was created to recognize graduating, college-bound high
school seniors who embody the spirit of volunteerism like the late Robert A.
Cunningham. Each scholarship recipient will receive a one-time award of $2,000.
The applicant must be a:
College-bound graduating high school senior with a strong academic
record (at least a "B" average)
Member of GECU (students may join, if they qualify for membership*)

All completed applications must be received at General Electric Credit Union
by 5:00 p.m., or postmarked, by Wednesday, January 9, 2008.
A scholarship committee will review the applications individually and choose
several applicants to interview. Interviewing will take place in February and
March and the committee will then select the recipients. All applicants will be
notified of their results by mail.
*Students may qualify for GECU membership in many ways. For example, if they
are a family member of a GECU member, attend a Mason/Kings school, or a
resident of Sharonville. Please contact us to
