Debit & ATM Card Access
Our Debit and ATM cards give you a convenient way to access your funds!
CashPlu$ Debit Card
If you have a GECU FREE or Premium FREE Checking account, we encourage you to apply for our CashPlu$ Debit Card! This card is a convenient way to access your checking account funds and it doubles as an ATM card. There's no annual fee and it carries the MasterCard® logo.
- eGuard: An added layer of security for your debit card
GECU debit cardholders are automatically enrolled in eGuard, an authentication payment system using 3-D Secure Solution that’s designed to improve online transaction security.
When suspicious activity is detected, cardholders will be asked to authenticate the purchase via a one-time passcode sent to their mobile phone. If not on file, eGuard will present knowledge based questions (e.g. date of birth, zip code) for the cardholder to answer during the checkout process.
If you don't have one of our fantastic FREE Checking accounts, but still want access to your Share/Savings account, we also offer an ATM card. GECU’s ATM card operates on the JeanieSM network and allows you to make deposits and withdrawals at thousands of Jeanie ATMs located around the Greater Cincinnati area. Plus, our cards carry the STAR® and PULSE® networks, giving you access to ATMs worldwide.
Activate your card as soon as you get it!
When you receive your new card, there will be a sticker on the card containing instructions, including the number to call (866.642.0450) to activate your card and determine your PIN.
- To activate your PIN, call: (866) 642-0450.
- If you need to change your PIN, and know your existing PIN, please call the number on the back of your card.
Important note: We cannot change, update, or reset your PIN for you. You will need to follow one of the above methods for updating your PIN.Learn more about ATM Access
*GECU ATM fee may apply at surcharge-free ATMs. For details, review our Fee Schedule. When using a foreign ATM within the Alliance One Network, occasionally machines will display a standard surcharge message on the screen during your transaction. Despite seeing this message, Alliance One Network members will not actually pay this surcharge when the transaction is processed through the network. This list is updated continually and is up to the institution who owns the ATM to notify the Alliance One Network of any changes. Please check your account to confirm this surcharge has not been charged to your account.
