• Direct Deposit & Go Direct – Have your paycheck deposited directly into your account, electronically. And, if you receive a government-issued check, such as a Social Security or Supplement Security Income check, on a regular basis, you can sign-up with Go Direct to have your funds directly deposited into your account as well. There’s no chance of your check being lost or stolen from your mailbox, the check usually is deposited into your account earlier than if you received it and it saves you a trip the credit union. If available from your employer, you can also choose to have a portion of your paycheck deposited automatically into your account at the credit union. Sign-up today using this direct deposit form or go to your payroll department with the credit union’s routing number and your membership number. GECU’s routing number is 2420-7682-1

• Money Orders – If you don’t have a checking account, money orders are a convenient way to transact business when cash is inappropriate. They are available at all GECU offices for a minimal fee of $1.25 each. Retirees receive Money Orders for free.

• Certified Drafts – For a small fee of $10.00, we will guarantee the amount of your share draft. Certified Drafts can be used when a guarantee of payment is required.

• Traveler’s Cheques – When you are traveling, secure your spending money buy using Traveler’s Cheques. They are available at all the GECU offices for a minimal fee of 1% of your amount. Retirees receive Traveler’s Cheques for free.
