let us help you get there

  • Expand your knowledge through higher education
  • Receive recognition for your efforts
  • Distinguish your unique achievements

How it started

The Robert A. Cunningham Scholarship was created in 1998 to honor the memory of Robert A. Cunningham, who volunteered as a GECU board member for 30 years. He sat on the supervisory committee for 10 years and served three terms (nine years) as a Chairperson of the Board. This college scholarship honors five-graduating high-school seniors who share the same spirit of volunteerism and scholastic achievement as Mr. Cunningham.
