Manage your funds with Text Message BankingText Commands

Text the following commands to 454545

BAL                        Primary balance

LAST                      Last 5 transactions

TRANS                   Transfer funds to primary account

STOP                      Deactivate service

Push Notifications (set up in the mobile app only)

  • Balance updates
  • High/low balance 
  • Large withdrawal or deposit
  • Payment due
  • Payment overdue
     

Set up email or SMS text alerts in Online Banking: 

  1. Log in to Online Banking. Not enrolled yet? Enroll now.
  2. Click Text Banking & Alerts in the main navigation.
  3. Click Start text banking now on the right.
  4. Enter in your text number and click Activate.
  5. Enter in the verification code sent to the phone number entered, click Verify
  6. Select your primary account by selecting it under The account I use the most
  7. Choose the account you want to transfer funds from via text message.
  8. Click Done to save your settings and return to the Text Banking & Alerts page.

Set up Push Notifications in the mobile app: 

  1. Log in to our mobile app. 
  2. Tap More, then select the gear icon at the top for My Settings
  3. Tap Push Notifications, then select from the available options (per account).

What is Text Message Banking?
A service that enables you to retrieve information about your accounts from a mobile device through text messaging without the need for internet or data.
Is Text Message Banking secure?
Yes. This service does not send text messages with any confidential information about you or your accounts. For example, account numbers are truncated in the text message.
How does Text Message Banking work?
When you send a message using your command, you will receive a text message with the requested information.
How do I enroll in Text Message Banking?
To enroll in Text Message Banking, you must log in to Online Banking. If you are enrolled in Mobile Banking, you can log in to Online Banking using the same Username and Password.
  1. Click Text Banking & Alerts in the main navigation.
  2. Click Start text banking now on the right.
  3. Enter in your text number and click Activate.
  4. Enter in the verification code sent to the phone number entered, click Verify
  5. Select your primary account by selecting it under The account I use the most
  6. Choose the account you want to transfer funds from via text message.
  7. Click Done to save your settings and return to the Text Banking & Alerts page.
What are the Text Message Banking commands?
You can text the following commands to 454545 on your registered device:
  • BAL: Balance
  • LAST: Last 5 Transactions
  • TRANS: Transfer funds to primary account
  • STOP: Deactivate service
  • HELP: Help keyword
I have a new mobile phone number, can I add or change my number online?
Yes. To add or change your phone number, log in to Online Banking and click on the Text Banking & Alerts tab. Under Text message alerts are sent to, click Change or add number.  You can remove your existing number and/or add another. 
What mobile service providers support this service?
This service works on all major mobile providers in the U.S. including, but not limited to: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, Cellular One, US Cellular, Nextel, and Virgin Mobile
Is help available through my mobile phone?
Yes, registered users should send a text command HELP to 454545 for assistance.
Is there any password needed for Text Message Banking?
You don't need a password to access your account information via text message. You do need your username and password to log in to Online Banking to enroll, activate, and set up the service.
Is Text Message Banking available to all members?
Text Message Banking is available to all members who enroll in Online or Mobile Banking. To enroll or edit settings, you will need to log in to Online Banking. While the service is free, please note that your mobile carrier's text messaging and web access charges may apply.
I have disconnected my mobile phone or changed carriers. Will my service continue to work?
As a security precaution, you will not be able to use Text Banking until you sign on to Online Banking and re-verify your mobile device.
