1Gold Card: Your Annual Percentage Rate (APR) will be 9.49% to 15.49% APR, based on your creditworthiness. The APR may vary (increase or decrease) on a quarterly basis and is determined by adding our margin to the Prime Rate as published in The Wall Street Journal effective for the first day of January, April, July, and October of every year. For each dollar charged on a qualifying purchase, and incurred finance charges in each billing period, on your GECU Visa Gold card, you'll earn cash back. Qualifying purchases are purchases for goods and services minus returns and other credits. Qualifying purchases do NOT include: fees, balance transfers, cash advances, or purchases of other cash equivalents. Additional terms and restrictions apply. This rewards program is offered at the discretion of GECU and may be changed from time to time with or without notification. 2Introductory APR for Purchases and Balance Transfers: Offer valid for qualified borrowers only. Upon approved credit. Offer subject to change at any time. 0.00% introductory APR for the first 12 months on purchases and balance transfers made in the first 60 days, after the account is opened. Existing GECU credit card/loan balances are not eligible for the introductory rate. After the introductory period, the APR will adjust to 9.49% - 15.49% for purchases and balance transfers, based on your creditworthiness.
3Gold Card Bonus: As a new Gold cardholder, you have the opportunity to earn a $100 cash back bonus upon making $1,000 in purchases within the first 90 days after account opening. When meeting the requirement, a $100 rebate will be applied as a statement credit the cycle after meeting the requirement.
4Credit Card Fees: Regular APR applies; foreign transaction fee is 1.5% of each transaction in U.S. dollars. There is a $3 or 2% of the amount (whichever is greater) fee to transfer balances from other credit cards to a GECU credit card.
5Online Banking: We provide Online Banking and Mobile Banking for free; however, Mobile/Internet data charges may apply, as well as text message charges for text commands and e-Alerts. Please contact your service provider for details.
6FICO® Scores: FICO is a registered trademark of the Fair Isaac Corporation in the United States and other countries. Primary GECU credit card accountholders will receive their FICO® Score 8 based on Equifax Data updated on a quarterly basis, when available.
7Zero Liability: If you suspect there has been unauthorized use of your GECU credit card, promptly contact Cardholder Services at (800) 542-7093. You will not be liable for use that occurs after you notify General Electric Credit Union and/or Cardholder Services of the loss, theft, or possible unauthorized use.
