R.E.P. General Contracting: Quality Residential Remodels

Hannah Klausing started REP General Contracting in 2020 to provide a residential remodeling solution that bridged the gap between professionalism and quality craftsmanship—an approach she uses to revamp her Tri-State customers’ kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.
“We’re not just your average contractor,” says Klausing. “We help budget, design, and build your project from start to finish—providing resources on ways to stay within your budget while also designing everything from your grout colors, paint colors, and the size of the tile you choose. We are here every step of the way.”

In search of the right banking partner, the Fairfield, OH, business turned to General Electric Credit Union (GECU).

“From day one, [they] empowered me with the knowledge and tools that I needed to succeed,” says Klausing. “They patiently answered my many questions and provided invaluable information to help me establish my company from the ground up—and ensure that I had long-term success.”
GECU listened to her business banking needs and offered tailored solutions to meet them. A check scanner keeps their branch visits to a minimum; ACH electronic payments allow them to pay vendors, contractors, and employees with ease; and a Business Advantage Money Market Account allows them to earn more on their money and build capital through a great rate.

She also secured a better way to borrow with a GECU business credit card. “Not only does it give me peace of mind and a sense of security with the purchases that I make, but I’m also rewarded for those purchases at the same time,” says Klausing.

Securing a financial institution that’ll be in your corner is one of the first essential steps Klausing recommends to other aspiring business owners—along with having the courage to seize an opportunity when it arises.

“Just take the leap,” says Klausing.  “Some of the greatest things in life sit right on the other side of fear.”
