Two options for your appointment
There are two ways you can meet with a GECU team member – choose the one that works best for you and your schedule.
In-person appointments
Maximize your time and schedule an in-person appointment to:
- Learn about the benefits of membership.
- Open a new checking, savings, certificate, or money market account.
- Apply for a credit card, personal loan, or vehicle loan.
- Open a new business account or business loan.
- Discuss IRA, HSA, or custodial/minor accounts.
- Get assistance with our digital services, your credit/debit card, or general account inquiries.
- Complete a notary.
Virtual appointments
Open a new account through a virtual meeting using video,1 from the comfort of home or wherever you are.
- Open a new checking, savings, certificate, or money market account.
- Apply for a new credit card, vehicle loan, or personal loan.

In-person appointment details
- Appointment confirmation and reminders will be sent to the email address and phone number you provide at the time of booking. The confirmation email will include a list of documents to bring with you, based on the appointment type you select.
Video appointment details
- Meetings will be held using Microsoft Teams using video, either with your computer or mobile device.
- From a computer, you can access Microsoft Teams from your browser (no software required).
- From a mobile device, you will need to download and install the free Microsoft Teams app from your mobile phone's app store.
- Appointment confirmation and reminders will be sent to the email address and phone number you provide at the time of booking. The confirmation email will include your Microsoft Teams meeting information and a list of documents to be prepared with, based on the appointment type you select.
