Becoming a member is easy!

Our membership qualifications are easy to meet:

  • Live, work, worship, or attend school in one of the following counties in Ohio: Adams, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Highland, Madison, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Preble, Shelby, and Warren.
  • Live, work, worship, or attend school in one of the following counties in Kentucky: Boone, Bourbon, Campbell, Fayette, Grant, Harrison, Kenton, Pendleton, and Scott.
  • Live or work in one of the following counties in Indiana: Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Switzerland, and Union.
  • An immediate family member of a current member, including: spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent/grandchild, step parents/children/siblings, and adoptive relationships.
  • Live and share household expenses with a current member.
  • A parishioner of All Saints Church, Assumption Catholic Parish, Crestview Presbyterian Church, Forest Chapel United Methodist Church, Glen Este Church of Christ, North Cincinnati Community Church, Sharonville United Methodist Church, St. Michael's Church, or True Holiness Covenant of the Peace Woodlawn Assembly.
  • An employee, student, or family member to a student at Kings Local Schools, Loveland City Schools, or Mason City Schools.
  • An employee or pensioner of General Electric Aerospace, General Electric Company Aircraft Engine Division, or General Electric Company in Greater Cincinnati.
  • Employed by TriHealth, including: Bethesda North, Good Samaritan, TriHealth Physician Practice groups in Greater Cincinnati.
  • Employed by Mercy Health in Greater Cincinnati, including: Mercy Hospitals Anderson, Clermont, Fairfield, Kings Mills, and West; Mercy Jewish Hospital Kenwood; and Mercy Health Physician groups in Greater Cincinnati.
  • Employed by one of our 300+ Cincinnati Select Employer Groups (SEGs).

If you answered yes to any of these, you are eligible to become a General Electric Credit Union member!

Open your first account

You may open an account online, visit a GECU location, or schedule an in-branch or virtual appointment to establish your membership. You'll need to provide the following the get started:

  • Your email address, mailing address, and phone number
  • Your Social Security number
  • A valid driver's license or other government-issued ID
