GECU now offers digital invoicing and payment acceptance, powered by Autobooks2 – an easy-to-use tool that includes everything a small business needs to track and send invoices and accept payments. 

To get started, you must have a GECU business checking account and access to Business Online Banking.

Send an invoice

  • Create digital invoices customized with your business logo and send them directly to your customer’s inbox.
  • View all your transactions in one place — see who has viewed an invoice, paid an invoice, or still has an outstanding invoice.
  • Generate estimates and set up recurring invoices to automate your processes. 

Accept a payment

  • Get paid directly to your GECU Business Checking account.
  • Accept payments from your customers in-person or online with a credit card, debit card, or electronic bank transfer (ACH).
  • Share your secure payment link on any invoice, text message, social media profile, webpage, or anywhere you communicate with your customers. 

With Autobooks, you have choices:

Autobooks' Basic

  • No monthly fee.
  • Accept payments and send invoices. 

Autobooks' Extended Services 

  • Accept payments and send invoices.
  • Extended Services includes full payables, accounting, and reporting package and capabilities free for 60 days, then $9.99/month.

Payment processing fees do apply to both Basic and Extended Services option: 3.49% for card payments and 1% for ACH payments.

run your businesses from one place, without the need to pay for other software.

With Autobooks, you can: 

  • Create professional invoices electronically or physically in seconds. 
  • Accept payment by credit card, debit card, ACH transfer, and mailed checks. 
  • Keep track of which customers have paid, and their payment amounts. 
  • Generate reports like: balance sheets, income statements, and customer aging reports at the click of a button.

No downloads of any kind are required. Autobooks lives completely inside of our Business 
Online Banking and mobile app platforms.

GECU Business members have free access to Autobooks’ payment acceptance and invoicing
services; however, payment processing fees apply. 

  • Autobooks charges processing fees of 3.49% for card payments and 1% for ACH payments.
  • You also have the option to purchase the Extended Services package for $9.99 per month, which includes other accounting tools, budgeting tools, and more. 

Autobooks is available from within Business Online Banking and our mobile app, so unlike QuickBooks, multiple logins are not needed. Additionally, Autobooks is designed with small business owners in mind, not accountants, so it’s streamlined to focus on receivables, payables, and cash flow while providing a fully functional accounting tool in the background. Some businesses choose to add Autobooks on top of their existing systems, and simply utilize Autobooks for its invoicing and payments functionality.
