Samantha brings with her over 13 years of diverse banking experience, having held key roles in Branch Banking (both as a Banker and Branch Manager), Business Banking, SBA Lending, and Commercial Lending. Her impressive background includes tenures at Fifth Third Bank, First Financial Bank, and US Bank, where she consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to client success and portfolio growth. Samantha is passionate about building lasting relationships and treats her clients—both current and prospective—as if they were family. This dedication has been a driving force behind her success, and we’re thrilled to have her bring that same energy and care to our team. Outside of work, Samantha lives in Indiana with her husband, their five children, and their dog. She and her family are deeply involved in their community—managing a local food bank and coaching a variety of activities including Cheerleading, Wrestling, Yoga, Kickboxing, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. When she’s not working or volunteering, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. On rare kid-free days, she and her husband love exploring small towns, visiting farmers markets, and riding their Harley on beautiful days.

Anne is driven by connection-she loves being a trusted partner and celebrating each client’s wins. Outside of work, she enjoys a full and lively life with her husband, Jamie, and their six children. Together, they love camping, traveling, and volunteering in their community.

Jason is a husband, father, mentor, consultant, and friend who has served the Greater Cincinnati community for over 20 years. His true passion is in helping to positively impact the lives of all who he may encounter. As a result, he's had the opportunity to do so through financial services industry for over 12 years. He believes that it is his duty to use his knowledge, experiences, and his network to help the community attain their business and personal financial goals. Whether through financial education, mentorship, advisement, or utilizing his centers of influence, each interaction is a growth opportunity for both himself and his community.

After spending 8 years managing in the restaurant industry, Kyle’s banking career began in 2013. Having spent time in retail banking and business banking at a big regional bank, Kyle’s passion is helping business owners achieve financial success. Kyle joined General Electric Credit Union in 2023. He utilizes his knowledge and network to be a trusted advisor. Kyle prides himself on providing the best member experience and offers solutions that will help with the operating cycle of the business. Outside of work, you can find Kyle on the golf course, traveling, checking out his favorite sports teams and listening to live music. Kyle really enjoys hanging out with friends and family, especially his 4 nephews and niece.

Business Service Support Center Supervisor
Derrick has been in the financial industry since 2014. His experience in finance and management moved him to join the General Electric Credit Union team in 2017. He serves his business members by bringing great service to a thriving credit union community. He lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Cristan, and two wonderful children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, going to church, and playing the piano.
Kim Woodward
Business Service Support Representative
Kim has been in the credit union industry for more than 30 years. Her financial background led her to join General Electric Credit Union in 2013 where she worked to develop valuable relationships with our members. She is excited to continue her journey and assist our business members with their needs. Kim joined our Business Services team in August 2023. In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her husband and family at their property in Adams County and exploring the mountains of Boone, North Carolina. She also volunteers with SAAP, transporting and fostering dogs and cats.Janie Weaver

Janie has a wealth of financial experience she has gained during her combined time of 24 yrs. in the banking industry. She has worked for GECU for 18 yrs. of that time and began here as a teller/front desk processor for 15 yrs., then promoted to the Assistant Branch Manager position at the Fairfield branch. She is very excited to bring this experience to the business services team, as she is always ready to help our members with a smile and happy to lend her knowledge to improve their financial lives. Any member that has worked with Janie knows that she has their best interest in mind when assisting them in their banking needs, and often seek her out for her advice and assistance to receive that special care that Janie consistently provides to them. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and grandbabies, and is always ready to go enjoy a white sandy beach to relax

Karen has been in banking for 7 years. She joined General Electric Credit Union in 2020 as a teller, where she enjoyed face-to-face interactions with the members and building relationships. She joins the business services team ready to assist our business members. Karen lives in Fairfield with her husband and 2 kids. She enjoys reading in her spare time and loves beaches and the mountains.

Katie Burba
Vice President of Commercial Lending
Katie’s career started in 1995 in retail banking. In 2008, she was given the opportunity to move out of management and into a self-producing sales role as a business banker working with commercial and industrial lending and owner-occupied commercial properties. She joined GECU in early 2020 and was promoted to Lending Manager in late 2020. Over the years, she has been fortunate enough to build numerous strong relationships with her clients, centers of influence, and colleagues. Regularly, she leans on any source that can aid a client if they need something beyond her services.
Drew Henize
Commercial Account Manager
Drew grew up in Florence, KY for the majority of his life. After graduating high school, Drew went on to attend the University of Cincinnati where he majored in Marketing and Operations Management for his undergraduate degree and continued his education to earn a Masters of Science in Finance from UC as well. He joined the General Electric Credit Union family in 2018 and strives to provide excellent member experiences on a daily basis. In his free time, Drew enjoys hanging out with friends and family, being outdoors, and cooking.

Steve Baker is a Commercial Lending Officer at General Electric Credit Union in Cincinnati, Ohio. He manages and deepens relationships across a diverse business portfolio while maintaining strong credit quality. His prior experience includes serving as a Branch Manager and Vice President-Business Banking Relationship Manager at U.S. Bank. Steve is active in the community through volunteering with A Kid Again, Joshua’s Place, Rivers Crossing Church, and Gift of Adoption, where he previously served as Ohio Chapter President. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Thomas More University and multiple commercial lending certifications. A Cincinnati native, Steve enjoys family time with his wife, Briana, and their three daughters.

Mike is a seasoned banking professional with nearly two decades of experience. He’s passionate about helping businesses grow by providing thoughtful financial guidance and tailored lending solutions. Outside of work, Mike is a dedicated father of three who enjoys spending time on the sidelines coaching his children's sports teams.
