How to use Samsung Pay

You can use your GECU credit and debit card(s) with Samsung Pay at many of your favorite retail stores.

  1. Look for the contactless payment symbol at checkout and hold your phone near the contactless reader when it’s time to pay.
  2. Use Samsung Pay for in-app or online purchases.
  3. Send or request money to/from friends or start a group to share expenses, such as: rent, dinner, and more.
  4. Earn rewards and purchase, send, or receive gift cards right in the app.

An extra layer of security

When you use Samsung Pay, rest assured:

  • Tokenization creates a unique randomized set of numbers used for each new transaction, so your actual card number and details are never stored or used from your phone.
  • If your phone is lost or stolen, use the Find My Mobile feature to remotely lock it or erase your Samsung Pay account.
  • When you use Samsung Pay, each transaction is authenticated by your fingerprint, iris scan, or PIN.
  • The same credit and debit card fraud protection carries over to Samsung Pay.
